Nick and Sophie have both been played by a corrupt business owner, and they decide to rob his posh London department store on Christmas Eve. Little do they know they may just fall in love doing it.

Themes:

Pickpockets and Thieves, Christmas, hustles, security, sleight of hand, terminal illness, heists, being set up, corruption, falling in love, family, revenge, and being framed.

Language:

A*s - 2 Hell - 3 Sh*t - 3 Religious Exclamations - 3

One character yells, “What the fu…” but she doesn’t get the whole word out.

Stuff to be aware of:

Sexual - One character mentions that someone is sleeping with one of Santa’s elves. A married woman is known for bringing “younger men” home.

A man and a woman dressed in Santa outfits act as if they are making out, but they don’t actually kiss. A married woman takes a man home with her and tries to kiss him. He escapes to a bathroom. During another conversation, he mentions that she is “ready to go,” and a woman says she would be with her right now if "she swung that way.” Later, the woman pushes the man onto the bed and pins him there with her leg.

A man is called “sexually depraved.” There is also a discussion about a man leaving a woman pregnant and kicking her out.

Other - In a party scene, people can be seen drinking. A woman flips someone off.

Overall:

Seeing It With Your Family

There is one brief scene, mentioned above, where a woman expects to sleep with a man. There are also a few curse words, but this one is pretty tame. If your children watch the Marvel movies, this one will seem much more family-friendly.

What I Thought

Don’t let it being on Netflix fool you, this is a Hallmark Christmas movie at its core. The acting and writing are slightly better than Hallmark, but the twists are predictable. Not one I will watch again, but if you’re into Hallmark Christmas romcoms or heist movies, this may be right up your alley.
