Stuff to be aware of:
Alcohol/Drugs - characters drink in several scenes. There are some scenes in bars and one on a plane where a character drinks champagne. In episode three men are seen packaging up drugs. In one scene a snake is cut open and his guts pt into alcohol. One woman asks if a man is high.
Sexual - There are some women that wear revealing tops when the characters visit Madrapour.
Violence - There is plenty of Marvel fighting, explosions, and people being shot. I will just mention more intense things here. There is a flashback where Winter Soldier throws knives at multiple people and kills them. He shoots one point blank. A guy gets kicked in the head and it causes a bad, bloody wound.
In episode two there is a big fight scene that takes place on top of moving eighteen wheelers. Several characters get thrown to the road. A squad of S.W.A.T. members gun down a man. In episode three there are multiple fight scenes with people being shot and killed. One bad guy gets a pole thrown through her shoulder.
In episode four the new Captain America beats a man to death with his shield. You don’t see the body except for blood on the hands of the dead man. Cap’s shield also has blood all over it.
In episode five there is a lengthy fist fight between several characters. There is some blood and one character gets his arm broken.
In episode six a man’s flesh burns and sizzles from a chemical reaction. A man is shot off screen, but the audience does see his body hit the ground. A woman is also shot and falls to the ground. She speaks a bit before dying.
Other -
Seeing It With Your Family
“America doesn’t care about my world so why would I care who their mascot is.” As far as violence and cursing goes this series is about on par with other Marvel shows and movies on Disney+. There are some themes of racism and nationalism that could lead to discussions.
What I Thought
This one is just okay. Honesty it just feels like Marvel is trying to get Bucky and Sam in the right places to do more movies. Zemo and Sharon Carter are sadly wasted.
